Emiliano Gómez

Emiliano studied mathematics and chemistry at the University of Maryland, and then went to graduate school at UC Berkeley, where he finished his PhD in mathematics in 2000. Since 2001 he has been the site director for MDTP at UC Berkeley, where he also lectures in the Department of Mathematics and works as the mathematician for the Lawrence Hall of Science. He has designed and led many professional development workshops for K-12 mathematics teachers and has also organized and presented sessions at several assessment conferences for mathematics educators.
