MDTP Diagnostic Assessments

MDTP grade-level and course-level diagnostic assessments are designed to measure students’ mathematical preparation in foundational topics of the course students are entering, and/or to inform students’ preparation for their next-level course and are informed by the California State Standards for Mathematics.

The diagnostic results should be used formatively to understand students' strengths and areas of unfinished learning, inform instruction and potential interventions, evaluate course readiness, measure program growth, and identify appropriate professional learning.

MDTP tests can be administered any time throughout the school year and are available in both paper form and on the MDTP Online Testing platform.

MDTP has a full selection of released tests aligned to the California Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CA-CCSSM) curriculum expectations.
