Genevieve Esmende is a middle school math teacher at Wangenheim Middle School since 2003. She is involved with the UCSD Mathematics Project, Math for America San Diego, Park City Mathematics Institute, MATHCOUNTS, and DoD STEM Ambassador for UCSD CREATE.

Genevieve has a Bachelor’s in Applied Mathematics from UCSD and a Master’s in Mathematics Education K-8 from SDSU.
