Schools Not in California

The information on this page does not apply to California K-12 schools.

MDTP annual license agreements are available for California Community Colleges, California Private Colleges, and most accredited educational institutions in the USA and Canada.

1. If your school has an unduplicated Fall enrollment less than 5,000 students, then the annual fee is $400.
2. If your school has an unduplicated fall enrollment of 5,000 or more, then the annual fee is $800.
3. Test booklets are currently available for $2.00 per booklet.
4. Sample packets are available for $20.00. This fee is required to cover the cost of materials, shipping, and handling.

The annual license fee allows your school to use and to purchase MDTP materials, which are copyrighted, and the key and topics for each of the tests ordered.  MDTP does not provide scoring software or scoring services to schools outside of California.  However, those schools may download our sample test reports or review our on-line tests scoring report to see some of the data MDTP provides in its reports.

MDTP receives funding to support MDTP services to California precollegiate schools, the University of California, and The California State University.  Printed materials and services provided to these California schools does not require a license.

Computerized Testing
CAPP Associates has developed software known as the CAPP Test Administrator (CTA) for the purpose of delivering computerized tests forms.  Their software is capable of delivering some of MDTP test forms.  Information on their software and pricing is available from The National Assessment Testing Clearinghouse (NATC).

CTA is designed to provide schools with maximum flexibility in choosing the assessment tests which best meet their needs. Any combination of paper and pencil along with a variety of publisher produced computerized tests can be fully integrated using CTA.  CTA runs on Window's computers. Phone and online support is available.

The MDTP annual license is valid for both paper and pencil forms and for computerized forms.  In addition to the license fee, CAPP Associates charges a per student per test fee for the computerized forms and requires a yearly minimum charge of $400 worth of testing.  They do not charge for the CTA software nor is there any initial cost.

The CTA Demo CD version is available and shows the tests as they would run and appear at your testing center. The demo runs on Win95 thru XP PC's (no installation required - uses CD-Rom).
